Module for temperature and humidity environment

XM11 allows to read room TEMPERATURE and HUMIDITY through an internal probe and to convert the read value on the pulse output with frequency between 0Hz e 5Hz. XM11  is a plastic case with two drilled slots (D=4.75mm) aimed to a smooth wall assembly, by means of screws. The device is equipped by only a 5-poles connector, removable with screwed clamps for the supply and the pulse outputs.

Measurement Accuracy

The temperature range to be measured through XM11 is within -10 °C and +65 °C. In all the working range it is ensured a tolerance on the output pulse measurement equal to ±0.8°C (tolerance to 25°C equal to ±0.3°C.), while for the relative Humidity measure is between 0% to 100% with a tolerance on the output pulse measurement equal to ±2% in the range between 10% and 90%.

For the room temperature measurement, we suggest  the installation at about 1.80 m in height, far from heat sources.

For electrical wiring, it is used a cable with two supply conductors for the module, with section of 0,5 mmq and conductors for pulse output which are not lower than 0.22 mmq. With this kind of cable the maximum length doesn’t have to exceed 350 m. .

Facilities and features

The module is made of two led on the front panel:

• RED led is positioned on the front panel and it blinks in correspondence of each output pulse. In case the input size would exceed the above mentioned range, there is a steady light.
• GREEN led in steady light means that the device is working. At any time, it is possible to perform the upgrade from XM10 to XM11, by purchasing the humidity and temperature integrated sensor and by installing it in the suitable connector within the device.

Applications

It allows to get room temperatures of offices, data processing center (DPC), warehouses, trade centers etc., if it is coupled with X-Meter/X-RWU.
